Become a STSC Scuba Ambassador

Scuba Diving!!!! You have seen it in print, on the web, TV, and movies. You've always wanted to be a scuba diver, but just didn't think you could afford it right now.  Here's your chance to become a diver, get involved in the dive community and learn more about this exciting and wonderful sport.  We are offering a few chances for volunteers to join the STSC Scuba Ambassador program.  Simply by volunteering to work at Sunken Treasure Scuba Center for 18 hours a month over the summer, you will be rewarded by becoming a certified PADI Open Water Diver.  We will provide you with all the equipment and materials you need for the course and also you will have the opportunity to dive with us throughout the summer with gear we will provide.  But this program isn't just for someone who wants to become a diver, if you are already certified, you will have the chance to advance your certification and gain even more dive experience. This will be a great opportunity to meet more divers, spend more time with the local dive community, expand your knowledge of diving.

As a STSC Scuba Ambassador, participants are expected to act positively and professionally as:

  • a representative of the STSC brand.
  • a voice of scuba diving within their community and spheres of influence.
  • a brand advocate of STSC through social platforms, events and relevant engagements.
  • a safe, responsible diver who respects marine life and the environment

What are we looking for during those 16 hours a month?

  • someone who is friendly and has a outgoing (personality)
  • can work with social media and contribute to a blog
  • can compose & take pictures
  • can cook on a grill
  • anyone 18 or older can apply
