Sunken Treasure Scuba Center Beach Party/Treasure Hunt
Back in 1979, Sunken Treasure ran it's first underwater Treasure Hunt drawing divers from seven states. First place prize, a trip for two to the Bahamas. These events ran for a number of years and then the Lock Haven Fire Company took over to raise funds for their water rescue team. Since they stopped we have ran a number of events on a smaller local scale. The last treasure hunt we ran was just a few years ago and we think it's time to have another. So on Sunday, September 7th at 10:00 am we'll be gathering again for our latest at Jay Street Bridge.
Over the years we have given away thousands of dollar in prizes. We don't have exact details yet but all entry fees raised WILL go back into prizes. So the more entries the more/better the prizes. Sunken Treasure will provide food and beverages after the event.
The event is open to all certified divers who wish to dive or snorkel. We have done this before so that divers who do not own or want to rent gear can still participate. Snorkelers will start 5 minutes before the divers. Checkout the one we had just a few years ago.

Cost is $15.00/participate if you preregister or $20.00 the day of the event. You must also fill out the STSC Treasure Hunt Event form and a Jay Street waiver if you haven't done so in the past.
Divers must have dive flag and everyone needs to fill out a Jay Street waiver if you haven't done so in the past.
